Demographics Impact on Local Economic Development
Abstract
Topics examining demographics are referenced from Future Ready, the report discussed at the 2019 Economic Development Council of Ontario’s annual conference. Future Ready lays out several determining factors to economic development and relating to that topic from a standpoint of awareness, influence, and control. Demographics is both discussed and understood as a factor that will determine the shift of business interest, cultural programs and legislated policies to improve quality of life for both rural and urban areas.
