Abstract

eCommunity is a cost-effective online forum for local government to interact with constituents, local organizations and other levels of government. It creates a way for citizens in a community to engage in dialogue with their local government and share their ideas. This portal also provides a platform for business to business (B2B) and business to community (B2C) interactions. As eDemocracy continues to develop in communities’ tools such as eCommunity have become vital to supporting this.
