Abstract

Rural communities across the United States have had trouble maintaining a highly-skilled workforce. This is the case as workers would end up leaving their communities after a few months for outside opportunities. Rural corporations have started to use Positively Pella, a new resident, community concierge service program created by the Pella Corporation. This corporation has been able to help communities retain employees through the use of technology to create hospitable communities.
