Abstract

Technology is being used in communities to increase knowledge management in a way that transcends geographical boarders. Networks that are both human and technological, are the most effective methods of building community development. This would include learning entertainment, and commerce. Virtual societies represent the way of the future and they need information technology (IT) as well as economic, political, cultural and social forces.
